After Lvl70, Paragon Levels starts - the Real thing. Games progression to Lvl 60 is extremely fast compared to D2 and at almost each level game throws new combinations at you to keep up the fun for the first playthrough. Gameplay is much focused on speed+speed+speed+PowerCombos.Īlmost catered towards casuals / newcomers, which is not a bad thing. (D2's Normal, Nightmare, Hell has been turned into 13 Difficulty levels). The real game starts when you step up and have leveled your character to LVL70 and above, to fight in Torment Levels. It's just too much fun - but with a mixed bag. D3 has a weak campaign compared to D2, although each class character is narrated having their own little persona, with some extra dialogues they can interact with other people / mercenaries. It's story and progression still doesn't hold a candle against Diablo 2 but that's just life I guess. So with that, Diablo 3 can be summed up neatly as Flashy, Fast and Addictive. I like to think myself as an experienced player who had done its good time in Diablo 2 as well as LOD. With this package, Blizzard has corrected everything wrong with release vanilla Diablo 3 (it's Auction house fiasco as well as connectivity problems).
